EVA visits Hamburg for BDV/VendCon 2025

  • The EVA was pleased to be in Hamburg on 6 & 7 November for VendCon 2025, the annual meeting of the German vending industry.

With 278 participants and 16 exhibitors, the event once again proved how dynamic and innovative the German market is.

The German Vending Association (BDV) announced during its AGM that it now counts 444 members – including 39 new members in the last year – bringing the highest membership level in BDV history. An additional commendable milestone was announced: the BDV will establish its own women’s network in 2026, which aims to foster meaningful exchanges, mentoring and empowerment to help create diversity in leadership positions going forward. An important signal for the future of the German industry.

The EVA, represented by its Director General Erwin Wetzel, wishes to congratulate the BDV team for its very successful year as well as the enjoyable VendCon event. With a number of important issues facing the German market currently, it’s of course crucial that the industry works together to find common solutions, and it’s encouraging to see the significant growth in BDV membership figures. These additional voices will undoubtedly help feed through via BDV representatives to the European-wide discussions at the EVA.

    Save the Date: Cologne 2026

On 19 & 20 November 2026, Cologne will once again host “BDV AGM meets VendCon.” Back in the BDV’s home city, the event will of course be featuring new topics, fresh ideas, and its signature blend of knowledge, networking, and enthusiasm.
