Founded in 1993, in Taipei, Taiwan. EVA Member Castles Technology became the first provider of eCA and smart card readers in the country. Now, the company has grown into a multinational corporation with offices in Asia, Europe, and America. Castles Technology has continued to innovate, launching new products and services that have changed payment technology for the better, offering services to more than 150 countries.
“The 30th anniversary of Castles Technology is a chance to celebrate and reflect on our achievements in the payment industry,” said Jean-Philippe Niedergang, CCO / EMEA CEO of Castles Technology. “We are proud to have been the first company to introduce contactless payments and launch Android POS in the industry. Our focus on innovation has been critical to our success, and we are excited to continue pushing boundaries in the future”, added Niedergang.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations Castles Technology has launched a new series of Android products including the Android S1U2 unattended device.
The EVA wishes to congratulate Castles Technology on reaching this momentous anniversary and looks forward to seeing the team and the latest products once again at the next industry fair.
