Epta provides a complete range of commercial refrigeration solutions, guaranteeing the supply, installation and maintenance of its systems worldwide. The Group operates in Retail, Food & Beverage and HORECA. In 2013 Iarp joined the Epta Group, increasing the product portfolio with plug-in cabinets and vending machines.
The vending machine business is one pillar of the Epta strategic plan and last year the company invested to increased presence with dedicated resources in sales, R&D and launching the new ColDistrict vending machines range. Amongst a range of features, Iarp vending machines all run on r290 to comply with recently implemented EU legislation.
Luca Valeri, EMEA F&B Sales Area Manager, explains why EPTA Refrigeration has joined the EVA, saying “The EVA Organisation will help us with the different legislation, information about players and data from the different European markets. Networking and new contacts will help us to increase our visibility and reach potential commercial partnerships.”
Erwin Wetzel, the EVA Director General, is pleased to see the company join the EVA commenting, “I warmly welcome Epta as a new member of the Association. A new and additional refrigerated vending machine manufacturer will add a new voice to our technical discussions, where legislation regularly brings an impact on machines; increasingly with regards to sustainability. The EVA interpretation of EU legislation and market data will help Epta with early and vital information, while our network of contacts and events can provide the opportunity to do new business. I am looking forward to personally seeing the range of Iarp vending machines at Venditalia this year.”
The company – already a member of the Italian Vending Association (CONFIDA) – will be present at Venditalia from 11-14 May and joins the EVA as a Full Member.
