The 12 edition of LE FORUM DE LA DA will be held from 16 to 18 October at the Carlton hotel in Cannes, France. The choice of this seaside resort is not insignificant. Cannes boasts unrivalled hotel and hospitality infrastructures. It’s France’s second-largest city for conventions, and only 5 minutes from Nice International airport.
This year, the event will benefit from the sponsorship and active support of the French Vending Association (NAVSA) as well as from the European Vending and Coffee Service Association (EVA). LE FORUM takes on a more international dimension as the EVA has decided to hold the 8th edition of its EVEX event at LE FORUM to enrich the meetings, contribute to market discussions and to bring a significant European flavour to the event. In a splendid private setting, professionals will be meeting for 2.5 days at stands, conferences, business meetings, workshops and lunches, not forgetting the magnificent evening events. A Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening to celebrate 30 years of EVA and a White Night on Thursday will also be great moments of fun and relaxation.

Against a backdrop of post-pandemic conditions and tensions in the global market, our combined event LE FORUM-EVEX will be a meeting point for providing solutions to the challenges facing the industry today. It is also an opportunity for French vending machine operators to meet and get to know their European counterparts, discuss common issues and share and compare professional practices. The participants will also meet the supplier partners of the event. This year, a large number of French and European partners will be present to showcase their solutions and concepts.

A Vision of Vending
The conference programme of LE FORUM-EVEX 2024 is taking shape and will be structured around 4 elements:
- Harmonisation: national markets are gradually erasing their differences and giving way to an increasingly harmonised European market;
- Friendliness: The #vending space is ever more a place of convenience. It is both a destination in itself and well as a social place;
- Hospitality: the operator becomes a provider of solutions, both for hot drinks but increasingly on food and fresh meals. Are the coffee corner and the connected machines the new market niches?
- New rules: Sustainability regulations, including on food provision, are now the widespread for the profession. Understanding these better allows us to adapt & determine the best practices for tomorrow.
Europe present around EVA
Through EVEX, the European Vending & Coffee Service Association will be involved in all Forum activities. The joint program with NAVSA will focus on market trends, issues and challenges arising from Covid and the current economic climate. Analyses, studies and data from EVA will provide a broader global analysis of the underlying trends structuring the market.
IVS Group S.A., Coca Cola Hellenic, Vending@work BV, Damaster Group, Vendingland BV, DGA Vending BV, Delta Cafés, BDS Vending Solutions, AutomatSpec, AMFM Vending, MAAS International BV, Café+co, O’Fresh, City-M LTD have already confirmed their presence at LE FORUM-EVEX. These European vending groups and players join the French operators.
NAVSA workshops
NAVSA is getting involved, and will be offering workshops on concrete subjects concerning current social and public affairs, focusing on the defense and representation of the sector. Located at the heart of the reception and exhibition area, NAVSA workshops will be an opportunity for everyone to benefit from the progress and daily work of the Federation’s members, who are committed to bringing the profession to life.
Choose 3 hot topics – New feature
In the coming weeks, operators registered at the FORUM-EVEX will be able to vote and choose from a list of conferences: 3 topics/market issues they would like to see addressed. The 3 topics selected will be the subject of workshops involving partners from NAVSA and from EVA.
